Pop star Miley Cyrus turned the big 2-0 on Friday (Nov. 23), but instead of being showered with lavish gifts from admirers, the "Hannah Montana" starlet asked her devoted fans to help raise money and donate to her two favorite organizations, the Starkey Hearing Foundation and Saving SPOT! Dog Rescue. During the birthday weekend festivities, Cyrus hit up Twitter to thank her thoughtful fans for their generous contributions. And in return for her diehard support and allegiance to animal rights, PETA decided to thank Cyrus with one rather unique and adorable gift - a rescue pig named Nora!

After learning that many loyal Cyrus supporters pledged donations to both the Starkey Hearing Foundation and Saving SPOT! Dog Rescue, the now 20-year-old posted this thankful message on Twitter on Friday:

@MileyCyrus: "Thank you to all my fans who donated to @starkeyhearing @spotrescuedogs for my birthday :) y'all topped it again best bday present by far!"

The Starkey Hearing Foundation is an organization which hopes to "bring understanding among people through hearing care by focusing on awareness, education, protection and treatment, so the world may hear." While the Saving SPOT! Dog Rescue is a California-based non-profit organization "dedicated to rescuing dogs from Los Angeles County and city shelters."

Cyrus also tweeted on Friday:

@MileyCyrus: "So much BIRFFFDAY love! ❤❤❤ i wish everyday was like this :)"

Such awesome "birthday love" included getting a pet pig from the animal rights organization PETA! Introducing the oinking rescue piglet, Nora Cyrus. According to PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman, "PETA knew that sponsoring a rescued pig was the perfect birthday present for a young woman who spends so much time encouraging others to help animals. From promoting animal adoption to speaking up for cows who suffer on dairy farms, Miley never stops letting her millions of fans know what they can do to make the world a kinder place."
