While Bollywood still might not have accepted Sunny Leone as one of their own, the former porn star doesn't seem to be letting it get to her too much, as she was just named the Most Desirable Women of 2014. That's right, the adult film star turned Bollywood actress has taken over the title, beating out Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez in the process, and Sunny couldn't be happier about the win. The star has been in the tabloids nonstop over the last couple of years, as she made her transition from XXX film star to big screen vixen, but she has been fighting an uphill battle trying to be recognized in the community. It looks like this honor might have solidified her status as a Bollywood Goddess.

The star spoke to the Times of India, where she explained what the win means to her and her status as a Bollywood star.

"It's such a huge honor to be winning this," the star explained to the news site. However, she did use the win to address the critics that would rather see her leave Bollywood behind her for good.

"A couple of people don't want me to be here and want me to pack my bags and leave," Leone mentioned. "Winning this title is a reassurance of the fact that I am not going anywhere and I don't want to. I love Bollywood and want to be here."

We are thinking that Sunny will continue to keep her desirable image in the coming months even as she is planning on taking on some different roles. The star told Hindu Times that her next projects are going to differ from anything else she's ever done.

"My fans have been seeing me from a long time ... Things change with time," the star explained. "This year you are going to see me in very different films. But there are a couple of movies which are not that glamorous."
