'Madden NFL 16' Cover Finalists: Rob Gronkowski, Patrick Peterson, Odell Beckham, Antonio Brown
Madden is more than a football game. At this point the famed NFL simulator has developed its own culture and fan base. This is why when the finalists for the Madden Cover are announced it's a big thing. For the upcoming Madden NFL 16 the four finalists are down to New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
Fans can vote on the cover through the Madden NFL 15 mobile game on the iPhone and Android devices. They can vote once a day and by doing so they unlock in-game challenges that in-turn allow them the ability to gain more votes. For these challenges they can add for extra votes.
The first-round of voting will close on Monday, May 11. Once the day is complete we'll be down to two finalists. After that fans can head on over to ESPN.com to make their final selection. We'll know for sure who'll be on the cover at 6 p.m. eastern time on Sports Center.
EA announced last week that Madden NFL 16 would be released on August 25, 2015. For now there isn't much news on the game other than a few updates. EA says there will be "intuitive new controls for quarterbacks, receivers, and defensive backs." They also went on to say the controls will "bring the passing game to new levels" and that "the battle between the offense and defense is yours to win."
Madden NFL 16 was developed in EA's Tiburon studios in Orlando, Florida. The game will be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.
Who do you think is the most deserving of the bunch to make the coveted Madden cover: Gronkowski, Peterson, Beckham or Brown?
