The countdown has begun as the final 3 episodes of The Flash continue on the CW network. With the truth behind The Reverse-Flash finally revealed, will Iris West (Candice Patton), Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) discover how "Grodd Lives?"

In our previous recap, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) was framed by the Everyman, who pretended to be him in a police shootout. While the Everyman confused the Flash and kept changing faces, Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Joe, and Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) discovered the rotten corpse of the murdered Harrison Wells. After capturing Everyman and clearing Eddie from charges, Barry and his friends discovered the secret lair of the Reverse-Flash.

In our recent recap, Cisco, Caitlin, and Barry discovered the Reverse-Flash's Time Vault, which revealed the scarlet speedster's future. Caitlin recognized the name of the newspaper article and pointed out, Iris West-Allen. Barry is destined to one day marry the love of his life, but Eddie has plans of his own to propose to Iris. Just as the Reverse-Flash kidnapped Eddie, Iris discovered the man behind the red suit is really Barry.

In an interview with TV Line, Patton reveals how she will become involved with the S.T.A.R. Labs team, "She's a reporter, so she knows what's been going on. She knows more about the word on the streets than maybe Caitlin and Cisco, who are more [about] tech. Iris is a little more "in the know"The Flash Iris Knows Barry Secret about what stories have been written about the sewer system, people who have seen Grodd and where they've seen him..."

Martin teases to TV Fanatic that Gorilla Grodd is nothing like any criminal Joe has faced before, "I mean its one thing to stare at Captain Cold in the face and his gun and have a fear of that but at least he's human. He's susceptible to a bullet or pain but when you talk about a character like Grodd, it gets established that Joe doesn't even really like normal gorillas let alone an eight-foot-tall, telepathic, supernatural gorillas."

The Law & Order actor continues, "This is a whole new world for Joe. He's handled all this information he's gotten since this accelerator exploded, all these meta-humans came out of nowhere and particularly what has happened with Barry but this Grodd thing is just off the chain. He can't even believe that this is something that happens and that he's part of this life and he's actually in the sewer looking for this thing."

The Flash continues on Tuesdays at 8pm on the CW.
