Floyd Mayweather Baby Mama Drama: Josie Harris Sues 'Lying & Jealous' Ex After Manny Pacquiao Victory, Domestic Violence & 'Drug Abuse' $20 Million Fight
Floyd Mayweather's "Battle of the Century" victory over longtime rival Manny Pacquaio was rather uneventful. Well, Mayweather's ex-baby mama Josie Harris just made things a LOT more interesting.
According to the popular gossip webloid TMZ, Harris recently filed a lawsuit against her former Team Money lover for a whopping $20 million. And the drama continues...
The "Starter Wives Confidential" starlet shares three children with the undefeated boxing champ. The rather troubled couple dated for several years, although Harris insists that Mayweather was violent on several different occasions throughout their relationship. Mayweather was arrested in September 2010 regarding a domestic altercation that took place at Harris' home. He ultimately spent 90 days in jail.
But in a recent interview with Katie Couric, Mayweather claims that he simply "restrained" Harris during that specific incident, because she was actually going crazy in a "drug-fueled" rage. This shocking revelation occured just about two weeks before the big Las Vegas right:
But now according to Harris, Mayweather is a downright liar. She is NOT a drug addict, but insists that Mayweather is a jealous ex who deals with his emotions in extremely abusive ways.
As TMZ reports:
Josie recounts her terror in the lawsuit, explaining how she and Floyd had broken up... but he flew into a jealous rage that night, broke into her home and viciously attacked her while she was sleeping on her couch... and her kids saw part of the beating.
But now several people think that Harris actually uses illegal drugs, so she was" embarrassed and humiliated on a global scale." And now wants over $20 million for defamation.
According to Harris' lawyer Dan Friedlander, the "facts" that Mayweather told Couric "were knowingly fabricated in order to hype Mayweather's upcoming fight with Pacquiao, to avoid bad press by deflecting responsibility for beating the mother of his children."
And according to Harris:
josielharris: "People push you to your limits but when you finally explode and fight back they want to call you out your name. Thou shall not take no shit. What you allow is what will continue.
Strong people don't 'shut up and deal.' They draw a line and don't let people walk on them. They take action to change their situation."
