'Girl Meets World': Boy Meets World Sequel Gets Approved, Cory And Topanga Are Proud Parents, Old Cast Rejoice On Twitter

"Girl Meets World" gets approved and the sequel will bring back old cast members, Cory and Topanga. The love birds have keep it going on strong since the 90's and there daughter will go through a similar journey like her parents in the new show.

When the show ended the newlyweds headed to New York City after college and started a new life. The show will fast forward to their 13-year-old daughter, Riley Matthews (who has yet to be casted) while she goes through similar adventures like her mother and father. Ben Savage who played Cory Matthews was extremely excited about the news -and maybe a new job- that he tweeted, "I'm going to be a father! Well, on TV at least. The "Boy Meets World" sequel is officially happening!"

Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga was also excited and broke wrote on her tumblr, "First of all, let me say that you, the fans of 'Boy Meets World,' have been awesome," she wrote. "You, yes, even YOU, are the reason that 'Girl Meets World' WILL BE MADE." Although Disney is still in the works of figuring out who will be casted and who will be returning for the new show Fishel wrote, "I do not know how many BMW cast members will be returning for GMW, or how often they may appear if and/or when they do appear," she continued, "It will have familiar faces, familiar themes, and familiar messages.  It will also have new faces, new themes, and new messages," she wrote. "For those of you who knew and loved BMW, please allow this show to evolve as well. Stick with us. Give us a chance."
