'Onion' Declares Sexiest Man Alive: Kim Jong Un And 10 Facts You Don't Know

While Channing Tatum gets the nod for People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2012, Kim Jong Un, was declared the Onion's sexiest man alive as well. The Korean leader who gained leadership of North Korea after his father died of a heart attack was acknowledge for his "sexy" looks.

The Onion said, ''With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman's dream come true." According to the People's Daily, the Onion also stated, "Blessed with an air of power that masks an unmistakable cute, cuddly side, Kim made this newspaper's editorial board swoon with his impeccable fashion sense, chic short hairstyle, and, of course, that famous smile."

While the Onion wants to tribute the North Korean leader, Mstarz believed it was  only right to give you fun facts about the young successor, Kim Jong Un:

1- Sources say, Kim Jong Un is so crazy about basketball that he had pictures taken with NBA stars like Toni Kukoc of the Chicago Bulls and Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers.

2 - The Chosunilbo reports a number of revelations about KJU's formative years and claims he briefly attended Switzerland's German-speaking Liebefeld-Steinhölzli School.

3 - It goes on to claim that "Pak Un", the sucessor's assumed name at the Swiss school, was shy and awkward around the ladies but was very competitive basketball player where he was as "explosive" and  a "playmaker".

4 -  Just Do It!  KJU had a huge Nike sneakers collection. According to former classmate Nikola Kovacevic, his Nikes were estimated  $200 per pair.

5 - KJU has become a style icon with his  buzz-style haircut which has, young Korean men going to the barber shops for a similar look of what is described as the "youth" or "ambition" haircut.

6 - South Korean media suggested that the young successor underwent cosmetic procedures to look more like his grandfather who founded North Korea, Kim Il Sung.

7 - KJU  birthday on January 1 was made a national holiday.

8 - North Korean soldiers were shown a documentary once KJU had gained power. The Documentary opened up as: "Following in the footsteps of the General, offering guidance to the troops, comrade General Kim Jong Un delivers a great blow to the enemy with the resourcefulness of his keen insight."

9- On the official North Korea state website it had a biography on there that said he did not defecate.

10- He is now in the running for "Sexiest Man Alive" along with Channing Tatum according to the Onion.
