Two Northern Westchester Hospital nurses are suing Doulas Kennedy for $200,000 after they claim assault and battery charges when they tried to prevent him from leaving the hospital with his new born son.

The two nurses are accusing Douglas kennedy of assault and battery, emotional and physical distress as well as negligence when the two women tried to prevent the Kennedy from leaving the hospital with his newborn son.  Kennedy said that he wanted to take his son outside for some fresh air, but the nurses wouldn't let him leave the maternity ward.

The $200,000 lawsuit was filed in the state Supreme Court in White Plains just a week after Kennedy was aquitted harassment and child endangerment charges. The two nurses, Cari Luciano and Anna Lane  are being accused of extortion after Kennedy and his wife, Molly said they would fight the charges calling the women "liars" and said, "are now shamefully continuing their lies in order to extort money from our family."

Allegedly, Kennedy assault was caught on camera and you can see Luciano falling to the floor after she was kicked. The other nurse, Lane said he twisted her arm from a door knob.
