Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan's Best friend? 'Liz&Dick' Performance Approved: Gives Critics Her Two Cents 'This Is My Last Chance'

Lindsay Lohan's Elizabeth Taylor performance has been bashed by many critics except one. Singer, Lady Gaga praised the troubled star for her lifetime acting skills in "Liz & Dick." 

Gaga tweeted the 26-year-old to uplift her spirits saying, "@lindsaylohan you did a beautiful job on Liz & Dick, Let no one bring u down, Liz didnt, they always try to knock the greats down a few pegs

Like most fans, Gaga's direct tweet would uplift any spirit and in this case Lohan's fragile spirit after she received horrible reviews. Lohan had been "devastated" by the backlash, a source told  HuffPost's Rob Shuter, "No matter how bad things were going for her personally, everyone would always agree that she was a great actress." The young actress tweeted back, "ladygaga thank you so much! You are such an incredible force and that means the world to me :) love & hugs xo hope to see you soon bella."

The two have been close friends since July when they had a sleepover at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. According to E!, sources say, "[They] have become good friends, the source added, "They talk and text all the time."

The actress opened up to Us Weekly  about her onscreen debut and her dwindling acting career. She told the magazine, "I want to be known as an actress, not a troubled starlet." She added, "People can think what they want, and the only thing I can do is prove them wrong. I know this is my last chance."
