'RHOC' Season 10 Cast Revealed - Lizzie Rovsek Fired, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge Back
When the new trailer for season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County was released today, fans of the show were surprised to see that one of season 9's rookies was absent from the mix. While Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador, Tamra Barney, and Heather Dubrow were all featured in the new trailer and promo posters that debuted today, viewers were scratching their heads wondering where Lizzie Rovsek was.
However, no need to fret, as there is a silver lining to the demotion news. While Rovsek won't be returning as a full-time housewife, she will still be on the series. She has just been demoted to a guest-starring role instead of a full-timer, according to The Inquistr.
Lizzie took to her Instagram account to clear up the rumors swirling around about her exit. Underneath a screenshot image from the trailer, which clearly shows Lizzie, she explains to her fans what her new role will look like.
"The ladies of the OC are back," the starlet wrote. "Season 10 starts June 8th on Bravo. I won't be a main housewife this season, but I will be returning as a friend. Buckle up, it's gonna be a wild ride.
Rosvek's demotion was being buzzed about for the last couple of months, as it was revealed that only five women would make up the main cast this time around. With reports that newcomer Meghan King Edmonds would be taking one of the coveted spots, it was being inferred that one of the season 9 women was getting the boot.
While we won't get to see as much of Lizzie's as we had hoped for, she will still be part of the season when it returns on June 8 to Bravo.
