There are only 2 episodes left of The Flash on the CW network. In episode 22, as a different version of The Justice League is about to form, will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) need Firestorm (Robbie Amell) and Arrow (Stephen Amell) to be able to stop The Reverse-Flash in "Rogue Air?"
Harrison Wells continues to torment his hostage, Eddie (Rick Cosnett), as he promises to get revenge. After meeting with Iris (Candice Patton), Barry meets up with Cisco (Carlos Valdes), who has discovered why Wells would need a wheelchair. He found a battery inside the wheeelchair, which explains why Wells is faster than Barry.
With the particle accelerator turned on, Joe and Barry realizes Wells is inside the building. Wells has actually released Peek-A-Boo from her prison cell. Peek-A-Boo beats the crap out of Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) before Iris knocks her out. The Reverse-Flash manages to outrun Barry and outsmart him again.
Joe hears Eddie's screams and cuts him loose. Iris then finds the engagement ring lying on the floor. Barry runs back and finds Eddie at the lab. Eddie reveals he is family with Eobard Thawne and he was working on a "tube." When the alarms go off, Cisco discovers a futuristic "bomb," which will go off in less than 36 hours.
If the accelerator explodes, the metahumans in the prison will die. To prevent them from getting loose in the city, Barry realizes they will have to move them to Oliver's prison island. Joe asks the D.A. to clear a route for the prisoner transport, but she doesn't want to get involved. Diggle's wife is involved now since Arrow is missing in action.
Realizing he has to break a few more rules, Barry pays a visit to Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) at a bar. If the metahumans escape, they will destroy the city and Cold will not have anyone else to rob. Cold needs something in return, but Barry cannot return the favor.
Iris asks Eddie about the engagement ring, but he has changed his mind. Wells showed him the future where Iris and Barry are married. While Joe and Barry are arguing, Captain Cold shows up because he wants everything about Leonard Snart removed from the record.
The Flash enters the precinct and erases Captain Cold's record. With Golden Glider (Peyton List) is now involved in the transport, Caitlin is upset that Cisco and Lisa Snart kissed. Cisco really doesn't want to be the good guy since Lisa has the hots for him.
After getting the prisoners in the truck, they drive out towards the airfield. Inside the truck, Weather Wizard starts a fight with The Mist, which amuses Deathbolt and Rainbow Raider. after their plane explodes, the prisoners escape. Joe starts shooting as Rainbow Raider messes with Caitlin's head, which makes her attack Cisco.
With the Flash down, Captain Cold freezes Deathbolt's face as Golden Glider points her gun at Rainbow Raider. They all agree to a truce and go their separate ways. The Rogues now owe Captain Cold a favor.
Barry thought he could use Captain Cold, but he's not that kind of hero. Joe asks for no more walks on the dark side. The particle accelerator is now fully charged. Iris asks for a second chance, but Eddie knows there has always been three people in the relationship. Iris cries after he breaks up with her
When the Reverse-Flash shows up, the Flash runs out to meet him. During their showdown, Firestorm and Arrow show up. The two speedsters run at each other at full speed.
With Firestorm in trouble, Arrow throws his fists at the Reverse-Flash. After a quick chase on the rooftop, Firestorm blasts the man in yellow off the roof. Arrow shoots him in the back, which knocks him out.
The Flash has finally captured the man in yellow, the man who killed his mother.
