'RHOC' Vicki Gunvalson Trailer Breadown - Star's Collapse After Phone Call Explained

Vicki Gunvalson has been making headlines all over the place today as the new trailer for season 10 The Real Housewives of Orange County was just released and her scenes in the less than 2 minute clip have been getting the internet buzzing and anxious for the new episodes. While the star has been with the series since the beginning, it looks like this is going to be her most dramatic season yet. Not only are there rumors swirling in the teaser that Brooks Ayer is making up the fact that he has cancer, but Vicki gets a really disturbing call at the end of the promo which shows her sobbing as she collapses to the floor.

Fans have been feeling for Vicki and have been anxiously wondering what the phone call was about that made her lose control. According to Radar Online, it seems that the call was from a loved one letting Vicki know that her mother, Joanne Steinmetz, had passed away.

While it was a very emotional thing for Vicki to go through, it seems that Bravo didn't realize that they would be debuting the clip on Mother's Day, which made Gunvalson have to relive the terrible moment all over again on a holiday that was suppose to honor her mom.

Housewivesglam tweeted at Vicki about the incident, writing, "And they released this commercial on Mother's Day. This must be heart-wrenching for @vgunvalson."

Vicki then replied to the tweet writing, "It's the most terrible thing to have to re-live again... especially on Mother's Day."
