Spider-Man Reboot New Actor Casting News: Asa Butterfield Confirmed for Marvel Cinematic Universe?
There seems to be a little back-and-forth when it comes to casting rumors about the new Spider-Man thanks to the 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios deal to reboot the character in Captain America: Civil War and more Cinematic Universe films. We've seen a short list of possible actors, narrowed it down to Asa Butterfield as the top choice, and then added Tom Holland as tied for the leading star. This week, Butterfield is back on top and some rumors suggest the Hugo star is confirmed as the next Peter Parker! Let's examine this speculation below. [Possible SPOILERS to follow!]

This new rumor comes from the source of most rumors, Latino Review. The entertainment news website definitely reports on pretty much every rumor we hear, but some of its exclusive content has proven to be true. For instance, Latino Review was right about a number of Star Wars: The Force Awakens rumors!
In other words, we should at least examine the rumor and maybe seriously consider it close to being confirmed!
