Adam Levine Bashes Honey Boo Boo: 'The Voice' Rocker Deems Hit 'Redneck' Reality Show 'Decay of Western Civilization'

Maroon 5 rocker and popular "The Voice" judge Adam Levine sure does have a lot of (rather harsh) opinions... and his latest target bash victim? None other than 7-year-old Alana "Honey Boo Boo" and the entire redneck Thompson clan made infamous on TLC's hit reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo." Viewers either love the goofy and rambunctious wannabe beauty pageant queen Honey Boo Boo or completely despise her... and apparently Levine is one of the 'haters.' In a recent interview with "GQ" magazine, the "American Horror Story" actor insists that "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is utterly horrible and the "decay of Western civilization."

First MTV, then "American Idol," then Fox News, then popular L.A. concert venue the Roxy, and now Honey Boo Boo? Just how much animosity does Levine hold against pop and social culture! Check out the explicit Honey Boo Boo "lecture" the 33-year-old rocker ranted off to "GQ," claiming how the hit TLC show is complete trash and a total Western civilization travesty:

"Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the DECAY of Western civilization. Just because so many people watch the show doesn't mean it's good... So many people witness atrocities and can't take their eyes away from them, but that doesn't mean they're good... That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That's. Ever. Happened. It's complet  fu##ing ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. Fu## those people. You can put that in the magazine: Fu## those idiots. They're just the worst. Sorry, I'm so sensitive to that -- like, I don't know, man, it's upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, FU## THOSE PEOPLE."

Whoa.

While many people would probably agree with Levine's views, others would definitely beg to differ - over its 10-episode first season, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" averaged 2.3 million viewers an episode and has been renewed for a second season. So Levine's f-bomb laden rant doesn't really make a difference - Western civilization will apparently continue to "decay."
