Season 3 of the CW's Arrow ended last week, but the DC hype continues thanks to the flood of news about the upcoming spinoff DC's Legends of Tomorrow. One of the most curious aspects of the new series revolves around the character of Firestorm from The Flash.

We know that Victor Garber will be a part of the series as Martin Stein, the older half of the fiery hero. But what about Robbie Amell as Ronnie Raymond? Arrow showrunner  Marc Guggenheim revealed some details in a new interview with Screen Rant.

"It’s a good question," he said. "I will say Victor Garber, who plays Martin Stein, is a part of the spinoff…and we wouldn’t have Martin Stein on the show if there wasn’t going to be some Firestorm."

There has been some speculation that Ronnie will die in The Flash season finale, which would lead Caitlin Snow to become Killer Frost. Further speculation holds that Franz Drameh's character of "Jay Jackson" is actually Jason Rusch, another half of Firestorm.

In related news, the identity of the character played by Caity Lotz has been revealed in a first-look trailer for the series!

Check it out below:

Lotz's character, Sara Lance, died in the Season 3 premiere of Arrow, so it was unclear how the Black Canary would return. But now the network has revealed her identity!

Comic Book Resources has posted the official teaser image for the spinoff, which shows that Lotz portrays White Canary. Check it out here.

We also know the show will premiere as part of the network's midseason lineup, and we know the CW has ordered it to series. And it sounds like the show will be epic in scope based on the official description:

"When heroes alone are not enough... the world needs legends. Having seen a future he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat -- one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they've ever known?"

Could this have something to do with the "Crisis" we've seen in the future newspaper on The Flash? Or is it some other threat? And could the time travel aspect of the show explain how Caity Lotz's deceased character of Sara Lance/Canary appears on the show as White Canary?
