There has been no "Backstreet Boys" album since their "This Is Us" in 2009.  Well, "Backstreet Boys" are back again this time with Kevin Richardson. They are "well into" recording their untitled new album, Rolling Stone reported.

"We're about 75 percent through. We're trying to have a single released hopefully in the spring, and an album summer or third or fourth quarter," said Howie Dorough to Rolling Stones Magazine.

The members of the band were in London earlier this year for nearly three weeks as they worked with producer Martin Trefere. The BSBs have also worked with Fliptones, record producers. The band has also reteamed with Dan Muckala who had written the song "Incomplete."

They have worked with two other collaborators, Morgan Taylor Reid and Mika Guillory along with Nick Carter and Dorough for the Christmas song, "It's Christmas Time Again."

"They wrote it specifically for a Disney event that we did, their Christmas show/parade that they have every year," Littrell says. "It's exciting, it's fresh. We're proud of Nick and Howie for penning the song and giving the fans a little something to carry them over until next year when our album comes out."

"It's just a natural evolution. We're all older, a lot of us are fathers. We're wanting to make this record a lot more personal," said Dorough dwelling on a different subject matter in the new album.

Fans can expect the music to have a "indie pop-rock" . But fans need not worry as the sound will be recognizable said Richardson adding, "We're not trying to recreate the wheel."

Meanwhile, Brian Littrell who is known to be a devout Christian told TMZ, he isn't praying for Lindsay Lohan, "I'm probably breaking a lot of ministers' hearts. It's like, 'He's a Christian. He should pray for everybody' ... But she's not in my prayers at night. I'm sorry."
