There is only 1 episode of The Flash left on the CW network. During the season finale, will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will cause a rift in time and end up in Earth-Two, meeting an alternate version of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), and Robbie Amell (Firestorm)?

In our penultimate recap, with the countdown ticking, Barry had to transport his prisoners, such as Weather Wizard and Peek-a-boo, to Oliver's prison island. Unfortunately, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) was planning all along to sabotage the mission and let the prisoners escape. The Flash didn't have to worry about fighting the Reverse-Flash alone, because Barry had Firestorm (Robbie Amell) and Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) giving his enemy an epic beatdown.

In the DC Comics Universe, there are two alternative-reality Earths. In Flash of Two Worlds, Barry, the scarlet speedster from Earth-One meets Jay Garrick, aka The Flash, his Earth-Two counterpart. In Flashpoint, Barry disrupts the time stream and needs the help of Thomas Wayne, Bruce's father, who happens to be Earth-Two's Batman, to set things right.

In an interview with TV Guide, Gustin reveals his time-traveling wrecks his future marriage with Iris West (Candice Patton) and teases, "What's fun about this show is that there's going to be multiple timelines as we move forward. I think we're going to start showing Earth-One and Earth-Two in the near future. There will be kind of different dimensions going on."

As we previously mentioned, Hawkgirl (Renee) will be making an appearance in the season finale. Will she end up meeting both identities of Firestorm (Amell and Victor Garber)? In the DC Legends of Tomorrow trailer, Hawkgirl is described as someone with a past lives complex. Could her past life involve Earth 2 somehow?

In an interview with IGN, Patton adds, "The finale is very heartbreaking. I just remember going to the table read and I don't think anyone left that table read with a dry eye. It's very emotional. It's very heartfelt and it's also very epic. It's catastrophic, I'll say."

The Flash airs one last time on Tuesday 8pm on the CW.

Grant Gustin shared this on his Instagram wall.
