'Breaking Bad' Comes to 'Grand Theft Auto V' Using Game’s Movie Maker Tool [VIDEO]
Grand Theft Auto V has a lot of great things going for it. One of coolest things about the game though isn't GTA related at all though. No, the coolest thing about the game is the fact that a fan made Breaking Bad tribute using GTA's moviemaker feature.
You check out the YouTube video of it here. The movie plays to the tune of the show's closing song, "Baby Blue."
The opening shot in the movie is of Walter White driving the RV from the famed first episode of Breaking Bad. That scene is followed by one of White holding his gun up in anticipation of the police showing up and catching him.
Other notable cameos in the movie are Jesse Pinkman and those yellow suits they wore all the times they cooked meth for profit. Since the movie was made with Grand Theft Auto's graphics engine, you can see every last detail on the hazmat suits and White's dirty underwear.
So far, the moviemaker tool used to create the Breaking Bad movie is only for the PC version of the game but an official blog by Rockstar states it will soon be coming to the XBox One and Ps4 versions of the game. Rockstar says it will be free or a paid add-on. For now, it's unknown when it will be coming out.
"The Rockstar Editor is an advanced tool requiring additional processing power so it would not be compatible with GTAV on the older systems, but we are currently working on a version tailored for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles - and we hope to release that sometime this summer, or as soon as it is ready," Rockstar said in their blog. "We are also planning to bring The Lab radio station to all four consoles in a forthcoming title update. Please stay tuned for more information."
