Coach Manuel Pellegrini explained that he's not totally disappointed in finishing second this year.
"If we cannot win the title, it is better to finish second to finish than third or fourth," he said, according to The Mirror. "It was not our target at the beginning of the season. We tried to keep the title, but it was not possible. Chelsea were a better team than our team this year so I think to be second is not bad."

Meanwhile, coach Ronald Koeman insists that Southampton's season was impressive this year, with a possible victory today!
"Maybe our [game] is the most difficult, but we beat Man Utd, had a draw against Chelsea. Why can't we win at Man City? The season of Southampton is incredible," the manager said, according to Express. "One point behind Tottenham, two points behind Liverpool. Everybody is proud about the Southampton season for this year."
