First there was drama behind the scenes of The View, now it looks like rival talk show The Talk has been hit with some bad news. It is being reported that Sharon Osbourne, who has been with the show since its inception, is taking some time off to focus on herself. That's right, it appears that the TV host and mother of Kelly Osbourne has asked to take a leave of absence from the daytime talk show after collapsing from exhaustion early this week.

According to Radar Online, the wife of Ozzy Osbourne developed pneumonia and become exhausted upon returning to Los Angeles. Her rep explained that she "collapsed from mental and physical fatigue," after spending time in New York and Toronto.

People confirmed the reports saying that Osbourne wasn't over the pneumonia that she developed after undergoing a hernia surgery recently. Due to her illness, the site is saying that the doctor has recommended that Sharon have some down time away from the pressures of work.

"Sharon has been advised and has agreed to take a month hiatus to recover fully from these recent events," Osbourne's rep told the site. "Sharon would like to thank everyone at The Talk for granting her this time off and to all friends, family and others for their incredible support."

The star has been on the show since its 2010 debut. However, during her absence, her co-hosts are going to have to pick up the slack. Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood will be covering for Sharon while she gets some rest and recovers.
