Carrie Underwood New Album? Instagram Studio Pic 10 Years After American Idol Win

Put on your cowboy boots and your daisy dukes because we are getting some new country music, y'all. This isn't just any new music, either, but rather music from one of the most decorated country artists in history. Carrie Underwood might have just given birth to a new baby boy, but the former American Idol winner and country superstar isn't letting that stop her from getting back to the studio. While fans did get to hear two new songs on Carrie's greatest hits album, which was released back in December, it hasn't been enough to hold us over. It looks like we aren't going to have to hold out too much longer, as the starlet posted a picture of her studio day on Instagram earlier this week.

Underwood posted the following picture on her social media site, which made all of her fans freak out with excitement; we can make that assumption as huge Carrie fans ourselves.

"Had an amazing day in the studio!" the starlet captioned the picture of the studio soundboard. "I still am in awe that I get to sing and call it my job! I think you all are going to like the new stuff!"

In related news, according to E! News, Carrie just celebrated her 10-year anniversary of winning the 4th season of American Idol. That's right, it's making us feel extremely old right about now.
