Sean Bean dies in way too many of his roles that even when he's just narrating the gameplay release trailer for the new horror video game Kholat, he's portraying a spirit of someone that died in the infamous, true mystery of Dyatlov Pass.

His biggest roles include Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and Equilibrium, each of which featured his character meeting his demise. "Sean Bean dies" is even a popular internet Meme that is easily searchable, with plenty of results to have fun with.

It's just funny that he was hired to be the voice of this game's narrator, who has previously died, which leads to the new gameplay. Besides this funny little fact, this new horror game looks pretty interesting.

If you're into unsolved mysteries from recent history, then you might recall the tale of Dyatlov Pass. According to plenty of reports on the mystery (which som call the Devil's Pass) and the game's Steam page, "in winter of 1959, nine skilled alpinists went for a trip to the northern part of Ural Mountains, which ended fatally. Bodies of expedition's crew were found scattered on slope of Kholat Syakhl."

Gamma Squad points out that this unsolved mystery has some theories including avalanche, military exercises gone wrong, and others, but it's definitely hard to explain the whole missing tongues aspect of the incident. We'd expect a game version of the story involving something much more sinister, though!

Honestly, it's an amazingly chilling story, so let's take a look at this new trailer to see how the game handled it.
