Despite NYC FC's unimpressive run, defender Jason Hernandez is looking forward to getting past it.
"When things aren't going well, what kind of men do we have and what kind of a team do we have to continue battling, fighting and representing our city and Club the best way we can?" Hernandez said, according to the team's official website. "I think that's when people show their true colors and we have a lot of fighters here who give it their all. We're going to come to a tipping point where some good things are going to start to happen. Hopefully that starts this weekend."

After losing to the LA Galaxy this week, Dynamo head coach Owen Coyle reflected on the loss to the press.
"We came here in good form. I think we certainly deserved something tonight, we never got it, but that's what this game does," he said, according to UPI. "It can be a cruel, cruel game. We have to pick ourselves up and we go again."
