Julia Louis-Dreyfus ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ [VIDEO]: Season 6 Welcomes ‘Veep’ Finale Star
Season 6 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has officially begun, folks. The famed web series from comedian Jerry Seinfeld aired its premiere last night with Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Oh yeah, and she was also Elaine Benes on Seinfeld for nine years. And if you were expecting a lot of talk outside of the iconic NBC series, well, you might want to watch something else...
Of course, we're not complaining; it sure was one entertaining premiere.
Seinfeld picked Dreyfus up in a James Bond-like Aston Martin. In fact, he called the actress the 007 of comedy, referring to the fact that whatever Dreyfus seems to do turns to absolute gold (and hilarity): Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine and Veep.
The two chatted about the old days over coffee, hitting points like Seinfeld finally growing up and getting married, he and Larry David wanting to play with Dreyfus' first pregnancy on the show by making Elaine fat for one season, and then some.
Actually, it looks like the conversation was so seamless that the show decided to hit up another Santa Monica restaurant for some more coffee and food.

Veep has but a couple of episodes left in Season 4. Catch it on HBO Sunday nights at 10:30 p.m.
