'Teen Mom 2' Jenelle Evans Custody Battle: Will Mom Barbara Keep Son Jace After Arrest?

Teen Mom 2 star, Jenelle Evans, has had many run-ins with the law, including her latest domestic violence incident with on again/off again fiancé, Nathan Griffith. Now that the charges were dropped, the MTV star wants custody of her son Jace back from her mother, Barbara.

After Jenelle's latest arrest for hitting Nathan, Barbara had a talk with her troubled daughter.

"[My mom] wanted to make sure I was okay and that's about it," the reality star told Realmrhousewife.com. "She's glad me and Nathan are split up of course. She just wants me to focus on what I'm doing."

However, the controversial women are still at odds in regards to taking care of Jace.

"We don't speak that much unless it's about picking up Jace and stuff like that," Jenelle said. "I mean, I don't know. It's iffy. It depends on the mood she's in that day."

In the recently released trailer for season 6 of the hit MTV series, the custody battle between mother and daughter reached a boiling point.

"When I get Jace back you will not see him," Jenelle said to her mom on the phone.

"It will kill me and it will hurt him," Barbara replied in tears.

As MStars News reported, the mother of two can't stay out of trouble, especially when it comes to her ex-fiancé. The contentious couple had yet another vicious encounter when exchanging their son, Kaiser.

"Basically you know I went to go pick Kaiser up and when I went to go pick him up, he grabbed my phone and he wouldn't give it back. So we wrestled for my phone and then he went inside and locked himself in his apartment," Jenelle previously told Realmrhousewife.com. "And I was like, 'Can you just give me my phone and my son?' And he wouldn't open the door, so I ended up leaving. And then after I left he went to the police station and pressed charges on me and said I attacked him."

"Not even 24 hours afterwards he wanted those charges dropped," she continued. "He wanted the judge to know that and everything."
