Hugh Grant Responds to Jon Stewart, Admits He was Rude, The Daily Show Host Was “Correct to Give Me Kicking”

Hugh Grant has admitted after three years that he was rude to the staff when he appeared on "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart in 2009.

Recently Jon Stewart who was speaking with Stephen Colbert at a fundraiser for the Montclair Film Festival in New Jersy blasted the "Noting Hill" actor saying, "He's giving everyone sh- the whole time, and he's a big pain in the ass." Stewart even added that he would "never" have grant back in his show.

Grant was complaining that he had to be in other places and he ageing complained when the clip of the movie "Did You Hear About the Morgans" that he was promoting and asked angrily "What is that clip? It's a terrible clip" for which Stewart replied, "Well, then make a better f-ing movie," Stewart recalled.

Grant Tweeted Dec. 13, that such conduct by him was unforgiveable. "Turns out my inner crab got the better of me with TV producer in 09. Unforgivable. J Stewart correct to give me kicking."

Grant recently multiple cameo roles for the drama movie "Cloud Atlas." Grant is famous for playing roles in romantic comedy movies. But in Cloud Atlas he plays six "evil" characters. "I do a lot of killing and raping [in the film]... But it was a laugh. I thought before I read it that I'd turn it down, which I normally do, but I was interested in meeting [Cloud Atlas co-directors] the Wachowskis because I have always admired them enormously. And they are so charming and fascinating.... I slightly called my own bluff," said Grant, Empire reported.

"The Daily Show" shot its last episode and it is on hiatus until January. Will Stewart change from "never" to "maybe"?
