Sarah Palin Calls ‘Girls’ Star Lena Dunham a ‘Pedophile’ Amid Josh Duggar Scandal
For some reason, Sarah Palin has gone on the offensive against Girls star, Lena Dunham. According to her, she believes a liberal bias in the media gave Dunham a pass while the press has publically crucified former 19 Kids star, Josh Duggar. In all caps on Facebook, Palin blatantly calls Dunham a pedophile. "HEY LENA, WHY NOT LAUGH OFF EVERYONE'S SEXUAL "EXPERIMENTS" AS YOU HAUGHTILY ENJOY REWARDS FOR YOUR OWN PERVERSION? YOU PEDOPHILE, YOU"
Palin was critical of not only Dunham on her Facebook, but also what she believes to be a bias by the "liberal media." In that post, she went off against the perceived bias.
"The intolerant left's destructive personal intrusions and narrow-mindedness applied to their chosen targets are bad enough, but their double standards are beyond the pale," Palin wrote. "I'm not an apologist for any sexual predator, but I'm sickened that the media gives their chosen ones a pass for any behavior as long as they share their leftwing politics. Case in point, they suggest Lena Dunham's sexual assault on her sibling is cute, and she's rewarded for it with fame and fortune."
What Palin is talking about is an excerpt from Dunham's book, Not That Kind of Girl. In it, Dunham recounts her earliest memories of sexual exploration. In one chapter, Dunham talks about touching her younger sister's vagina as a child. During that time, Dunham was seven and her sister was one. In another part of the book, Dunham talks about bribing her sister with candy to kiss her while she masturbates in a bed they shared.
Duggar was 15 at the time his alleged sexual assaults took place. At that age, he could have been tried as an adult in court.
Do you think that Sarah Palin's claims are warranted?
