According to alleged, leaked information including screenshots and more, it looks like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers could be experiencing some Dark Souls 3 gameplay next year! This report comes from Roster Teeth's video blog, The Know, which claims that the new title is set for the 2016 release, but also includes a ton of new characters. According to IGN, the leaked information boasts 45 new enemies and 15 new bosses that don't include previously seen characters in the other chapters of the franchise. On top of that, 100 new weapons and 40 new armor sets will also show up in Dark Souls 3. We might also get to see 12 playable areas, according to this rumor.

From the sounds of it, there's plenty for From Software to work on, so the target of 2016 could be pushing it, unless it's a late release. What do you think of this leaked information? Let us know in the comments section below!

We'd also like to point out that Rooster Teeth has been wrong in the past when it comes to video gaming rumors. The Know recently reported on Microsoft allegedly saving Silent Hills from the grave by paying "billions" to acquire the title from Konami. Xbox boss Phil Spencer denied the rumors, thus proving the news source wrong. To be fair, though, if Rooster Teeth is saying they have screenshots, its highly unlikely they're just making this story up.
