She was one of America's favorite mothers and a beautiful blonde who acted in famous films including Ghostbusters II, all four Lethal Weapon movies, Forrest Gump, The Goonies, Little Giants and many more. Now everyone is saying their goodbyes to a fine actress, Mary Ellen Trainor. MStars News previosuly reported that Trainor died at the age of 62 years old at her home in Montecito, Calif., on May 20, 2015 following her battle with pancreatic cancer, and now shocked fans and celebs are mourning the loss of the late actress.

The Goonies stars including Corey Feldman, Robert Davi and others, including fans of the departed actress took to Twitter to mourn her death. Check out some tweets right here:

Trainor's career in entertaiment started with a stint in radio, moving on to star in movies directed by her then-husband, Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis.

One of our all time favorite films, The Goonies just celebrated its 30th anniversary on June 7, and Trainor was part of that team. She played the homemaker Mrs. Walsh.

Back in 2013 when Trainor was asked about some of her best memories while working on the film, she stated: "The shenanigans of the kids (Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Jeff Cohen, Josh Brolin, Jonathan Ke Quan, et al). They all fell in love with each other. And Dick Donner encouraged that."

Trainor is survived by her son Alex, her mother Jane and her brothers and sisters, Ned, Jack, Barbara and Carolyn.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 19 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montecito.

The family has requested that lieu of flowers, and donations be made to Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation and The Wounded Warrior Project.
