The June 8, 2015 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans and serves as the go-home show for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on Sunday.

The show begins with John Cena, who cuts a promo on Kevin Owens and says he will prove that his time is not up yet by beating the NXT Champion on Sunday. Owens then comes out and says Cena is delusional because the crowd is sick of seeing him open up Raw, so he has an idea. Instead of Cena's proposed United States Championship Open Challenge, he'll do one for the NXT belt instead. Cena approves of this idea and accepts, but Owens says they aren't fighting until Sunday. Cena tries to have Owens accept his U.S. title challenge, but Owens ignores this and says the next person down the ramp gets to decide for which belt he wants to fight.

Neville emerges and says that he has fought Cena in this Open Challenge before, so now he wants a chance to get the belt he once held proudly off of Kevin Owens. Cena nods in approval and joins the commentary team for the match, which Owens wins with a Pop-Up Powerbomb after thwarting a Red Arrow attempt by Neville. Cena and Owens stare each other down after the match until Owens leaves with the NXT Championship.

Backstage, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Seth Rollins are panicking about how Dean Ambrose is running around with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in New Orleans. Rollins says he does not need the help of Kane or J&J Security, but he kisses up to Trips and Steph. They say they will observe his match Sunday but he'll have to beat Ambrose alone. Triple H also says his match tonight is a tune up.

Renee Young interviews Divas Champion Nikki Bella, who says Paige is just frustrated that she is not more successful. Tonight she fights Summer Rae, someone just as frustrated. This may be Paige's house, but it's the Bellas' world. Nikki then beats Summer Rae with the Rack Attack as Paige watches backstage.

Roman Reigns hits the ring and talks about how he wants to win the Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday. Kane comes out and says Reigns doesn't have a chance, especially with him involved to ensure The Authority gets it way. Reigns challenges him to come into the ring, but Dolph Ziggler comes out and says he's been on a roll lately that will continue through Money in the Bank when he becomes WWE World Heavyweight Champion. R-Truth then comes out and talks about overcoming his fear of ladders. Kane informs him he isn't in the match, to which Truth says "my bad" and leaves.

Kane keeps trying to speak but continually gets interrupted. The New Day comes out and says that when Kofi Kingston becomes Mr. Money in the Bank, they all become Mr. Money in the Bank. Sheamus then comes out and says he is just one Brogue Kick away from winning the briefcase. Kane says the final two competitors are Neville and Randy Orton, at which point The Viper comes out for a match with Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior wins by DQ after Orton demolishes him on the announce table and ring steps. He plants Sheamus with an RKO in the middle of the ring for good measure.

J&J Security approach Rollins backstage and ask to be in his corner again, but Rollins insults them and blames them for Ambrose having the title right now. Jamie Noble tells him off and says he would not last a minute if The Authority didn't have his back. Rollins says The Authority gave him permission to pick his opponent tonight, so he picks Noble and Joey Mercury for a handicap match. They get into a small scuffle and Mercury says tonight they kick his ass.

Kane defeats Ziggler after Rusev comes out and causes Lana to trip and hurt her ankle. The distraction allows Kane to chokeslam Ziggler for the win. The Show Off checks on Lana after the match as medical personnel attend to her. Backstage, they continue to work on Lana as Ziggler comforts her.

The Miz hosts Ryback and Big Show on Miz TV. The two men will fight for the Intercontinental Championship on Sunday. Ryback and Miz go back and forth for a bit until Big Show comes out. The three men argue for a while until Ryback Shellshocks the giant.

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan demolish Los Matadores (w/El Torito) and attack them after the match. They get on the microphone and say the time to pay for your sins is coming.

Kane tells Seth Rollins backstage that he is in a no-win situation on Sunday because even if he beats Dean Ambrose on Sunday, then he has to deal with Kane, who will cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. If he loses, then he'll just cash in on Ambrose. Rollins dares him to try, and Kane informs him he will be in J&J's corner tonight.

Big E defeats Titus O'Neil after a distraction from The New Day.

Roman Reigns wins a lengthy match with Kofi Kingston after he Superman Punches Kofi as he tries to come off the top rope. Reigns then sits by the barricade and smiles as Dean Ambrose's music hits, and he makes his way through the crowd with popcorn to watch Rollins' match from ringside. Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon tell Rollins to go get his title back.

During the handicap match, Rollins goes for the Pedigree, but Ambrose hops the barricade and tosses the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt into the ring. Rollins retrieves it, which allows Joey Mercury to roll up and pin the champion. They celebrate with Kane, but Rollins just gloats that he has the title again. Ambrose comes up behind him, plants him with Dirty Deeds, and takes back the title. He sets up a ladder on the ramp and poses with the title as the show goes off the air.
