26 Acts Of Kindness For 26 Sandy Hook Victims: Ann Curry Starts Global Trend In Memory of Newtown, Connecticut Children And Adults
Simple 26 acts of kindness are being passed along all over the nation. Ann Curry of NBC tweeted, "Imagine if all of us committed to 20 acts of kindness to honor each child lost in Newtown. I'm in. If you are RT. #20Acts." Since then the message had caught on to facebook and raised to "26 Acts of Kindness" adding on the 6 adults who've died from the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shootings.
The pledge has gone global and people have tweeted in support of either receiving or giving away a kind act:

On December 14, Adam Lanza, 20, killed his mother, Nancy Lanza first at their home on Yogananda Street in Newtown, Connecticut before heading to the Sandy Hook Elementary school where he shot 26 people and himself at the scene. The shooter, an honor student considered to be a genius by his peers never seemed to be a violent type and was considered a "nerd" by his own brother, Ryan Lanza.
