'19 Kids & Counting' Jill & Jessa Duggar Still Reeling From Molestation Confession
News of 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar's past has been making headlines for the last couple of weeks, as it was revealed that he had molested five young girls when he was younger. Reports broke out saying that Josh had even inappropriately touched his younger sisters, Jessa and Jill Duggar. While the family is still reeling from this revelations being made public, the reality star's younger sisters are the one that are having to relive the traumatic events all over again.
According to Radar Online, the family members are extremely upset that this dark family secret has now become public and that they have to deal with it once again.
"This was something that they felt they had closed the door on, and to have it forced open like this... they were just devastated, and they continue to feel devastated," an insider explained.
People is also reporting on the issues, saying that girls "just feel horrible that this is now public knowledge" and "that this is something that the whole world will know about them for the rest of their lives."
While the future of the TV show is still up in the air, it seems that Jessa and Jill would be perfectly fine not returning to the limelight.
"If they are never on TV again, they'd be fine with it," the source told Radar. "They are content to keep lying low, but they don't want people to think they're living their lives cloaked in shame. They hope to regain some semblance of normalcy."
