Kim Kardashian’s MySpace Page Unearthed: Nowhere Near Instagram, Twitter Numbers
Before Kim Kardashian was the queen of the Kardashian empire, she had 856 friends and 72 comments on MySpace. Seeing where she stands now on Twitter and Instagram, it's almost hard to think she ever had below 1,000,000 people watching her every move daily. US Weekly made the big Social Media relic find this week. On her page, they unveiled that she referred to herself as Princess Kimberly - a role she has obviously evolved from since then.
Kardashian listed her dad as her hero and that she is a "princess" and everyone is "so not there." It says she last logged in on June 1st, 2006, so you'd have to think that at some point that day she discovered Facebook just as the rest of the world did at around that time.
Also on the page was Kardashian's top 8. This listed consisted of Brody Jenner and both Rob and Kourtney Kardashian. Despite the page being more than ten-years-old her inner circle hasn't changed all that much.
These days, Kardashian has a lot more friends on social media. She gets more than 800 people attempting to contact her in a minute. Her Instagram boasts millions of likes and millions more follows. 35.9 million followers to be exact. Then there's her Twitter - a page she started on March 2009. On that page she has approximately 32.5 million followers.
Kardashian says social media is a way of sharing her life with the rest of the world.
"So many people think that taking selfies is just ridiculous. For me, what's so funny is I love taking pictures and posting them on social media just for memories," she said. "It's not that I brand myself like I'm a celebrity. It's just I'm living my life and sharing a part of my life with the world."
Will you be bringing back Myspace just to see if you can get more friends than Kim Kardashian on there?
