Money in the Bank 2015 Results: Did Seth Rollins Retain WWE Championship Against Dean Ambrose?

WWE presents Money in the Bank from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and features a main event between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

On the pre-show, WWE pays tribute to the late Dusty Rhodes.

R-Truth defeats King Barrett in the pre-show match when he dodges a Bullhammer and uses the crucifix to get the pin.

When the show proper begins, WWE again pays tribute to Dusty with a Ten Bell Salute.

Sheamus wins the Money in the Bank Ladder Match in a victory that few people saw coming. Roman Reigns seemingly had the match in hand when he dodged an RKO attempt by Randy Orton and hit a spear. He climbed the ladder until Bray Wyatt emerged out of nowhere and planted him with Sister Abigail. Sheamus then starts to climb the ladder, but Neville climbs up and tries to knock him down, but the Celtic Warrior takes him out and grabs the briefcase.

Renee Young interviews Paige, who says no one has helped her to take down the Bellas. She vows to change the women's division by stopping them "for you, Dusty."

Nikki Bella then defeats Paige in a Dusty finish. Brie Bella comes in to pull off Twin Magic, but Paige reverses her roll up attempt and pins her. After the bell, Brie reveals the deception, and the ref resumes the match. Nikki then gets back into the ring and hits the Rack Attack to retain her title.

Big Show defeats Ryback by disqualification when The Miz comes in and attacks the giant. Ryback therefore retains the Intercontinental Championship.

John Cena defeats Kevin Owens in an absolutely stellar match. These two met the expectations set by their match at Elimination Chamber, if not exceeded them. It took three Attitude Adjustments to put down Owens. After the match, Cena gets a mic and addresses Owens. He hands him the NXT Championship and offers his hand, which Owens' hesitantly shakes. Cena raises his opponent's hand, but Owens kicks him out of the ring and then crumples him with an apron powerbomb. Trainers and referees check on Cena as Owens takes both his belt and the United States Championship. He hoists the NXT belt and laughs like a crazy person.

Renee Young interviews Dean Ambrose, who says he is taking home the gold tonight.

The Primetime Players defeat The New Day to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions when Titus O'Neil hits Big E with Clash of the Titus.

After a lengthy and brutal match, Seth Rollins retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Dean Ambrose when both men grab the belt from the top of the ladder at the same time. When they fall off the ladder and hit the mat, Rollins comes away with the belt, so the referee declares him the winner. Triple H comes out after the match and celebrates with Rollins. JoJo interviews Rollins on the stage, and he says he told everyone he would win this match because he is the greatest WWE World Heavyweight Champion of all time.
