Drug Lord's Daughter, Doctor Alejandrina Gisselle Guzman Salazar Released From U.S. And Sent To Mexico Cartel [PHOTO]
A 31-year-old pregnant Mexican woman who pleaded guilty to an immigration charge is suspected to be the daughter of Mexico's drug lord.
Alejandrina Gisselle Guzman Salazar, was released immediately by U.S. District Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo after pleading guilty to fraud and misuse of visas.
Associated to the Associated Press, Guzman Salazar's attorney,Guadalupe Valencia said, "She's happy to be back in Mexico and out of custody to have her baby," she added, "She's a doctor and will go back to her life before she was arrested."
The pregnant woman is said to be the daughter of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman who runs the Mexican Sinaloa cartel. Initially, when Salazar Guzman entered the U.S. at San Diego's San Ysidr, she told border inspectors that she was eight months pregnant and heading to Los Angeles to give birth.
Salazar Guzman compromised with authorities and admitted that she was entering the United States on someones else's visa. She was then asked to leave the country and charges were dropped.
