'Dark Souls 3' Xbox One, PS4, PC Gameplay Release Date News E3 Trailer - Confirmed Last Game in Franchise
We're absolutely loving what's taken place at the 2015 E3 Conference so far, and we're only on the second day of showcases, put the expo itself hasn't even begun! We've already seen plenty of new games announced, but we're excited for Dark Souls III. We got to see our first look at this new title during the Microsoft Xbox conference, but the gameplay comes out on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 when its early 2016 release date hits. We also learned this week that this will be the final installment of the popular franchise. Watch the new announcement trailer for Dark Souls III below.

While we loved the announcement trailer, it didn't feature any gameplay of the highly anticipated game, though we're sure E3 won't end without us seeing a bit more from the title. There might not be any gameplay footage in this trailer, but it sure has plenty of gamers sold on purchasing the title when it hits shelves next year. Along with this great news comes some sad news, if you were looking forward to a Dark Souls IV coming out in the future. According to the game's publisher, Bandai Namco, this will be the last title of the franchise.
"We are blessed to have such a supportive and loving community, and we are happy to dedicate this final episode to them," the video game publisher said in a press release.
