Finally! Rapper Lil Wayne's highly-anticipated new album #FWA will officially hit airwaves on July 4 (2015). Despite Weezy's ongoing beef with Cash Money Records mogul Birdman, this "revenge" record will likely premiere through Jay-Z's exclusive music streaming service, Tidal.

Meanwhile, details surrounding The Carter V still remain a total mystery.

But Twitter fans are still pumped that fresh tunes from the YMCMB superstar will help kick the summer off right!

@JayNeeds2GrowUp: "4th of July makes perfect sense for Wayne to drop FWA... Independence Day."

@DeNiroDNA: "That Free Weezy Album been pushed back for too long. Lil Wayne has been impressive as of these days. Gotta hear what he's been cookin up [fire]."

Coincidence that the Free Weezy Album debuts on Independence Day? Probably not - the "How To Love" crooner's probably throwing major shade at Birdman once again. The New Orleans emcee made the surprise announcement during a performance at Heat Ultra Lounge OC in Anaheim, California on Tuesday (June 16). After hitting the crowd with a live rendition of "We Be Steady Mobbin," Weezy said that fans would finally get to enjoy #FWA (in full) starting July 4.
