Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth UPDATE: 'Hunger Games' Heartthrob Hopes to Bring Fiancee Home to Australia for the Holidays

Rumors have it that "Hunger Games" heartthrob Liam Hemsworth plans on flying his fiancée Miley Cyrus out to his native country of Australia to spend the holidays with close family and friends! Things seem to be going well between the Hollywood couple... despite Cyrus' beloved pup Lila recently passing away, Hemsworth getting into a rowdy street brawl outside of a Philly bar, and the 20-year-old pop star getting into a Twitter "tiff" with fellow songstress Taylor Swift ... the duo were spotted cozying up and keeping warm after reuniting on the Philadelphia movie set for Hemsworth's upcoming film "Paranoia" earlier this week. Instead of heading back to the West Coast to celebrate Christmas and the New Year, 22-year-old Hemsworth thinks that bringing Cyrus "down under" would be a "very nice" way to spend the holidays.

Hemsworth hopes to enjoy the end of the 2012 festive season back in his home country of Australia - and he would love for his bride-to-be to join him. Given that the young actor recently wrapped up filming the highly-anticipated sequel "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" - and filming for "Paranoia" is currently on hold for the holidays - his wish could definitely come true:

"I hope to take Miley to Australia for Christmas - that would be very nice. I stopped filming in early December so it's possible," Hemsworth recently told contactmusic.com.

And apparently the Hemsworth clan would be more than happy to welcome Cyrus into their family home. Liam's older brother Luke once said - "She's great. She loves our kids, and our kids absolutely love her. She won our hearts. I find her really interesting. I find her very articulate, and years in maturity above her age. But at the same time, she's very much like Liam. I think a lot of people don't realize that they are really, really in love. They actually are a perfect match in a lot of ways."

Hemsworth was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, but his family moved to the small Australian island south of Melbourne called Phillips Island when he was just 8-years-old.

Despite all of the "drama" surrounding the highly-publicized young Hollywood couple, it looks like their love always proves victorious! Mstarz hopes the engaged duo enjoy a fun and relaxing holiday in Australia if Hemsworth's wishes go as planned!
