'The Forger' Movie: WATCH John Travolta, Tye Sheridan, Christopher Plummer DVD/Blu-ray Clip!

Lionsgate Home Entertainment is bringing The Forger movie to Blu-ray and DVD. From the high-stakes crime thriller starring John Travolta (Pulp Fiction), Christopher Plummer (Beginners), and Tye Sheridan (Mud), check out this special features clip before the film arrives in stores.

According to the plot synopsis, the world's best art forger (Travolta) has made a deal with the crime syndicate. In order to get an early release from prison, he agrees to pull off an impossible heist. He must forge a painting by Claude Monet, steal the original from a museum, and replace it with an exact replica so perfect that no one will notice. With the help of his father (Plummer) and son (Sheridan), they have to plan together the heist of their lives.

The cast also includes Abigail Spencer (Cowboys & Aliens), Marcus Thomas (You Kill Me), Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) and Jennifer Ehle (Fifty Shades of Grey).

In an interview with Coming Soon, the Hairspray actor describes his character, Ray Cutter, "Well, I was challenged by him being a painter and a forger, and I was challenged by the situation that he's in. It's different than a story glamorizing some guy who knows how to imitate the masters. I loved that he bribes his way out of prison in order to be with his son. Then, the payback, much to his surprise, he thought it was just going to be finding money to pay back, but it was having to forge a masterpiece. That was such an interesting kind of dilemma and interesting situation that felt original to me. You know, it felt new, like something I hadn't seen in film before, you know?"
