Following the horrific act that went down in Charleston last week – in which 21-year-old Dylann Roof walked into into a Bible study group and opened fire at the historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church – it seems that many are realizing that while the United States tries its hardest to keep things calm overseas, perhaps we should be looking in our own country even more. The young racist's actions have also sparked a conversation about the Confederate flag, largely known as a beacon for the slavery era in the South.
