By Star Connor s.connor@mstarsnews.com | Jun 24, 2015 01:13 PM EDT

It's been five years since Neffeteria "Neffe' Pugh and her family have been a part of reality TV. Within those five years, the sister of Keyshia Cole has been through many struggles including losing everything, including her house, and starting all over again. However, Neffe has returned with an all-new season of the hit show, Frankie and Neffe and has become a better, sister, mother, daughter, and wife.

After being in the press and having a constant Twitter war with her sister, singer Keyshia Cole, Neffe finally relaunched season two of the 2010 reality show, which is currently on BET Wednesday nights. Neffe is no longer on her sister's reality TV show, but that hasn't stopped the two from finally communicating and forgiving each other for past hurts.

MStars News reporter, Star Connor spoke exclusively with Neffe and her husband, Soullow as they talk about the new season of their hit show, their new business ventures, Soullow's music career, and of course Neffe and Keyshia Cole's troubled mother, Frankie!

Star: How are you working on becoming a better big sister? You and your sister, Elite had counseling sessions, how have things gotten better between you and your sister?

Neffe: "I've always been the best sister that I could to Keyshia. I kind of fell off a little bit when I first got married.  And the transition of going through a divorce and moving to Atlanta; and this whole reality thing you know we started going our different ways.  My other siblings, the transition has been a struggle for me because we weren't all raised together. I really didn't know how to be a big sister....I'm learning. It's working and then it's not working."

Star: How does it feel to get some of that old baggage, your past hurts, and everything off of your chest when opening up to Keyshia Cole?

Neffe: "It felt good because I never had a chance to talk to her [Keyshia] about being a victim of violent crimes. A lot of women don't like to talk about molestation, or rape, abuse or any kind of abuse period. A lot of women like to be secluded, and I kept that in for so many years and she just couldn't understand why I became such an angry, bitter woman. I needed to let her know, "listen this is what happened to me I didn't quite understand it...I apologize if you felt like I was pushing you away from me, which I never wanted to do so it's just something that I carried on my shoulders."

She added, "Once I was able to open up and express that to her it got a positive reaction it helped us move along as sisters."

Star: How does your past make your marriage stronger?

Soullow: "When it comes to Neffe's past and my past that's actually what it is, the past. My wife had issues with letting the past go because some people feel like what happened in the past is completed. But you have to look at what God does for you.  I took a lot of backlash from her [Neffe] ex-husband, and her cousins. I took all that pain and hurt because I was a man. It was a big trust issue with me. It wasn't because I'm a cheater or anything like that it was because she [Neffe] didn't want to put somebody she loved through that. I had to accept that [her past] battle through that and pray because it was important that I did that for her if I loved her. It's like if you got kids, I love you, I them, and she had baggage, and if I love her I love that and we'll get through it."

Neffe:  "I think the past could dictate the future, and in that time in my life the past was effecting my future. I did not know how to let it go...so it took a while. I went into depression, I was drinking heavily at one point in time trying to escape and it just was not working. At some point in my life I had to say, "let me just let the door open up and see where this goes."  It took about 3 to 4 years. I'm remarried, I have a beautiful family, God is moving me in a different direction to let that crap go. It wasn't easy but I was able to get through it."

Star: What do you think it's going to take to help Frankie?

Soullow: "When it comes to mama I don't know what people may think, what they've heard, or what they think they're seeing. Frankie is together. Frankie is one of the most gifted people I have ever met in my life. They can say that 'Frankie's on drugs she looks like she not doing well' but that's not true. If you know Frankie that's not true. Mama is together, she's living her life. You only live once. I expect her to be jumping out of parachutes.  Let Frankie live. She's the matriarch, she's number one. Without Frankie there be none of them."

Neffe: "I think people just need to....the world is so judgemental. Has Frankie been on drugs, yes. Has she been an alcoholic before, yes. Has she relapsed, yes. It's so many across the world that has been. Mom is living her life, do she need help, maybe but guess what God got her."

As far a business, Neffe has launched her new lipstick line called "Neffeteria by La'cora Monet". The lipstick line celebrates diversity and individuality for all ages and races. Presented in a fashionable sleek case, Neffeteria by La'cora Monet offers a vast array of colors including creamy and matte textures for long lasting shine.  Neffe is also working on her own PJ set clothing line.

When it comes to her new business' Neffe says: "We are still working on it, we're still getting everything on it because I want it to be right for you guys."

Beside's Neffe's new ventures, her husband Soullow has also been very busy with his music career, and has a hit single out right now called, "Last Night".

As for Soullow's music career, and his future in music, Neffe's husband said, "You get to a certain point in your life where you have to look at things different. I know I'm one of the most talented producers, MC's in the world and I've had my run-ins with we're going to do this, and do that. He's signed here, and he's signed there. I got into a tragic accident which took 10 years off of me and the comeback into the game now is so depressing. It's [music] not the same and if I do decide to back into it I'm going to do a couple of albums and it's going to have to be on my terms."

Soullow also revealed that he was working on his television and film production company (Nyla Production Company) and revealed that he is opening his own catering business called Staraee Catering.

Some of you fans probably remember the trailer below, where Keyshia Cole's family were going to seek therapy for their issues. Soullow was a part of producing that trailer.
