'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Husband Joe Spinoff Series Filming w/ Wife Still in Prison

With Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice away in prison it looks like Joe Giudice is about to follow in his wives footsteps. That's right, the househusband is filling out his wives very expensive stilettos to keep his household afloat while the breadwinner is away in prison. It is being reported that the star has been looking for work, as it has been getting increasingly difficult to provide for his family now that Teresa is behind bars. Joe seems to have found the only reasonable solution to his financial problems—he is getting back into the reality show business.

According to Radar Online, Joe and his four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, will be headlining a new special that will follow the family as they cope with their wife and mother being away. While Joe wasn't really keen on the idea of broadcasting his life to the public again, it was the only way to feed his family.

"The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show, but it was really the only option because there was no money coming in," an insider explained to the news site. "With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from his parents."

Us Weekly is also confirming the news saying the deal will consist of one episode thus far with the option to include additional episodes after the premiere. The site is also reporting that filming for the special began at the beginning of the month.

The special will most likely air in the next couple of months to fill the void that is left by RHONJ's absence.
