Courtney Love Attacked By Mob Inside Uber After Paris Cabbies Start Protest

Courtney Love has led an insane life and most of it has transpired right in front of our eyes. Now, just because it isn't 1992 doesn't mean that insanity has come to end. Tranquility and Love don't go hand in hand one bit and this couldn't be truer than when she was attacked by an angry mob while inside her Uber car in Paris. The crazy thing about this is they weren't attacking Love's Uber because she was in it. She found herself in the middle of a cabby protest. Apparently, taxi drivers in France are furious over Uber drivers not needing to pay licensing fees. If anybody was going to get caught in between a fight between cabbies, who better than her?

In the incident, taxi drivers held Uber cars hostage and attacked them with metal bats. They even went as far as lighting tires on fire and turning vehicles over. It was a rekindling of the French Revolution except the unfair French ruling class was replaced by an iPhone app with lax rules.

Love took to Twitter to tell the world about her Uber battle:

NPR's Eleanor Beardsley says French courts are examining the legality of the Uber model. "Uber continues to operate in France while a court examines the legality of its app-based business model," Beardsley says. "Critics say Paris taxis in particular have resisted being opened up to competition for decades, and are now totally unprepared to confront the Uber threat."

Since these riots started, thousands of French cabbies formed blockades around airports and key train stations on Thursday. Government officials warn travelers to not even bother driving. It's just best to take a train.
