Chris Brown and Rihanna Love Grows: Singer Removes Karrueche Tran Tattoo, Ex-Girlfriend Angry over Rekindled RiRi Romance?

After spending a romantic Christmas day together at an L.A. Lakers game before sharing an intimate night of "smoking, napping, and sex," it looks like Rihanna and Chris Brown have officially rekindled their on-and-off again relationship... and the "Don't Wake Me Up" crooner's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran isn't too happy about it. Brown's former flame sent out a rather hostile and cryptic Twitter message on Saturday (Dec. 29)... and now rumors have it that the 23-year-old R&B singer even recently removed a tattoo dedicated to Tran as a "romantic gesture" towards RiRi. Reports also confirm that the controversial couple jetted off to Abidjan, Africa on Sunday to celebrate the Kora Awards together... an act which has supposedly fueled Tran's jealousy, anger, and feelings of betrayal.

Now that Rihanna and Brown are officially "back on," Young Breezy apparently laser-removed a tattoo of Karrueche Tran's name to prove his devotion and love for the "Diamonds" songstress. The couple had a great time at L.A.'s Staples Center on Dec. 25, cozying up courtside as the Lakers took on the N.Y. Lakers before heading back to Brown's apartment:

One Hollywood Life insider claims that although Brown warned Tran that he'd be spending the holidays exclusively with RiRi, he still contacted the 24-year-old model to wish her a Merry Christmas - ''Even though he was with Rihanna, he still called Kae and told her Merry Christmas and told her how he misses her and how he hopes she was having a good day and all that s**t... He was texting her throughout the day, too... told Karrueche he was going to be with Rihanna for Christmas like two days before Christmas. Because he had told her already, she was just like 'F##k it, whatever.'"

Even so, it looks like the Barbadian beauty has won over Brown's heart in the end. Brown, the headliner and guest of honor for the 2012 Kora Awards (better known as the "African Grammys"), had the "We Found Love" songstress join him in Africa on Sunday (Dec. 30) for the prestigious musical event (which was postponed from Saturday because Brown missed his original flight).

As for Tran... she posted this rather foreboding Twitter message on Saturday, Dec. 29:

@karrueche: "Your lies are going to catch up to you."

But apparently she's already over it (or at least pretending to be), posting later on Sunday evening:

Do fans think that Tran is definitely out of the picture, therefore leaving Rihanna and Chris Brown back on serious dating terms? Wonder if the duo plans on jetting off to Barbados for a romantic New Year's together!
