'Daredevil' Season 2 Spoilers: Will Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple Fight Netflix's Punisher?

Audiences have been eagerly binge-watching Marvel's Daredevil on Netflix. With the casting announcement of Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil, will Claire Tempe aka Night Nurse (Rosario Dawson) find herself up against or in need of rescue from, Frank Castle aka The Punsher (Jon Bernthal)?

We mentioned before, Netflix has announced Season 2 of the Man Without Fear series. There will be a few changes this time around as executive producer Steven S. DeKnight steps down and adds new showrunners Doug Petrie (American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy).

We also mentioned, the former Walking Dead actor will portray their most popular characters. Staying true to his comic book origins, Frank Castle aims to clean up New York City's Hell's Kitchen by any means necessary. The Punisher and Daredevil are always at odds over the difference between justice and vengeance. Bernthal joins Thomas Jane, Ray Stevenson, and Dolph Lundgren who have put their own stamp on The Punisher.

In an interview with MTV,  the Sin City actress is excited to see Castle on show, "That's going to raise the stakes so much more, because Matt Murdock almost behaves like the Punisher in the first season. [Matt] crosses the line quite often, so it's going to be really interesting to see how they differentiate them and where that goes."

Dawson describes the grittiness of the action sequences, "It's really fun to see people miss punches and get tired. They're people. So I'm very curious to see how that develops, as we're maybe starting to bring in some of the more fantastical heroes that we keep alluding to."

Nerdist adds, "The title of "Daredevil vs. the Punisher" is more of a philosophical battle that'll take place over the season. With Kingpin out of the picture, a power vacuum will be created that the city's villainous vermin will try and fill. With all these termites crawling out of the woodwork, the Punisher will likely emerge and try to exterminate them. However, as the self-appointed protector of Hell's Kitchen, Daredevil is going to have to put a stop to that."
