Mother and daughter exchanged a few nice words over Christmas through Twitter. Love initiated the Twitter conversation first and Frances offered a very short reply calling her mom, "Kooksmcgee."

Following are the Tweets from Love and Frances:

"Merry Christmas Bean!! love you more than you could ever know. Xmamma," Love Tweeted.

"@Courtney merry Christmas kooksmcgee," was the short Tweet from Love's daughter.

"that was best Christmas gift ever. proudest mama in the world thank you Bean. means the world to me," replied Love.

Courtney Love Criticized Former Nirvana Members

Love has been very critical of former Nirvana members. In an earlier incident she had accused former member and drummer Dave Grohl of making a pass at Frances, which Love later apologized for.

Love is known to spend lot of time online. She recently commented on a Facebook post by Everyone Loves Our Town blog about the Seattle scene. The reply from Love has typos and lacks punctuations but criticizes former Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. She also mentions the Kurt Cobain's stomach problems, has references to drug usage and also tells that she and Frances are emailing each other.

Love gave an impromptu acoustic performance in New York City, Dec. 29, 2012.
