Teresa Giudice: 'RHONJ' Star Tweets Same-Sex Marriage Message to SCOTUS From Prison
Teresa Giudice is not so fond of the United States legal system (as one can probably guess). The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been the centerpiece of a fraud trial since last spring and was convicted and sentenced to 15-months in a Danbury, Connecticut federal prison, with her husband, Joe Giudice, sentenced to serve time after her. However, while she might not be so keen on the courts, she did take to her Twitter account over the weekend to congratulate them on one victory.
With the Supreme Court of the United States ruling that same-sex marriage is now legal in all 50 states, the social media world exploded with outpouring of love and support for the LGBT community. A lot of celebrities took to their Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram accounts to post about the court's historic ruling and while Teresa is in prison and unable to use Twitter, her account uploaded a message in support of the historic decision.
"Finally some good news coming out of a court!" Teresa's team wrote on the social media site, adding hashtags, "#Justice&Equality4All" and "#LoveWins."
Us Weekly is reporting that since Giudice is prohibited from using social media in prison that the messages most likely came from someone close to her. In addition to this tweet, the RHONJ starlet has also had two more posted since being behind bars. The news site confirmed that it was Teresa's daughter, Gia, who was responsible for those messages.
Prior to the SCOTUS tweet, the most recent one read, "Thank you for your outpouring of support and for standing by me through this most difficult time. Love love love you all!"
