Rapper Big Sean opens up about his break up with singers, Ariane Grande and Naya Rivera. In an interview with ET, the "Blessed" singer said that he has no regrets over his failed engagement and brief relationship with Ariane.

"Man, you know, I don't plan relationships. They just happen. That's all it is. I'm just... I'm just living it. It's no, it's no guide, it's no script. You know, we just out here doing what we doin'. Feelin' it out." He added, "It's no mistakes in life, though - only lessons."

In April, Ariane confirmed her split with the "Dark Paradise" rap star in a tweet-and-delete post, "I love u babes so much," she wrote. "You're a bunch of angels honestly. Your love / care is appreciated so much. I'm good I promise."

Big Sean responded, "Just know I love u and I care for ya."

April 20th their reps addressed the split saying that the split was a mutual agreement, "April 20: "They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends."

A source told US Weekly, "They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year."

Recently, in an open essay on social media, the "Problems" singer addressed her issue by being labeled as "Big Sean's Ex" saying that she is much more than that, "
"Being 'empowered'.... is not the same as being a 'bitch'..." Ariana said in the essay. "HAVING SOMETHING TO SAY.... is not the same as HAVING A BAD ATTITUDE. What I meant when I said what I said about not being Sean's ex is that I am tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man's past, present, or future PROPERTY / POSSESSION. I... do not. belong. to anyone. but myself. and neither do you."

She continued, "I have clearly not been having the boy questions in my interviews lately because I have come to the realization that I have SO. MUCH. MORE. to talk about," she wrote. "I'm currently making the best music I've ever made in my life, having the best time of my life on tour with some of the greatest people I've ever known, working my ass off every single day."

"I come from a long bloodline of female activists," Ariana continued. "My aunt Judy was the first Italian american female president of the national press club in Washington, D.C. I think she would have been proud of me for speaking up about something that has been bothering me personally for so long... If a woman has a lot of sex (or any sex for that matter)... she's a 'slut.' If a man has sex.... HE'S. A. STUD. A BOSSSSSS. a KING... If a woman even TALKS about sex openly... she is shamed! Misogyny [is] still ever present. I can't wait to live in a world where people are not valued by who they're dating / married to / attached to, having sex with (or not) / seen with.... but by their value as an individual. I want the people reading this to know that they are MORE THAN enough on their own."

Well... there you have it!
