'Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide' Game Reveals 'Bright Wizard' Playable Character!
The Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide videogame has announced a new playable character for their action first-person shooter and combat adventure. The independent developer Fatshark reveals The Bright Wizard, a wanderer in search of the ecstasy of pyromancy.
According to the plot synopsis, in Vermintide, the city of Ubersreik is under siege. Players can select from a band of five heroes with different styles and abilities. These five heroes are all equipped with unique gear and personalities. Working together, players must use their individual attributes to survive an apocalyptic invasion from hordes of relentless. They must face agains the power hungry Skaven while traveling across a range of environments, stretching from the Magnus Tower to the Under Empire.
Fatshark released new details of their last five playable heroes. In Warhammer: End Times, Sienna Fuegonasus is a fiery tempered Bright Wizard . The wizard wanders the land in a constant search for opportunities to indulge herself in the ecstasy of pyromancy.
Blessed with a sharp intellect and a wicked sense of humor, Sienna passes as as well-adjusted individual. But as far as wizards go, those who witness her in battle, they will see her dependency of the adrenaline rush of pyromancy can take her. In the back-story, the Bright Wizard arrives at Ubersreik as a prisoner of the Witch Hunter, Victor Saltzpyre, and guarded by the Empire Soldier, Markus Kruber.
On the developer blog, the official site states, "It was clear to us from the start that we needed to include a Wizard of some kind among our heroes. During the early stages of production, we therefore went through all of the Colleges, sketching up the pros and cons of each from a gameplay and story perspective.
The site adds, "Despite several of them catching our interest, we kept coming back to the Bright Wizards and their love of burning things. Their pyromaniac tendencies and fiery tempers combined with the imagery of having Skaven go up in a pillar of flame felt just too tempting to ignore."
