WWE NXT Results 7/1/15: Finn Balor and Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Owens and Rhyno

The July 1, 2015 edition of NXT airs on the WWE Network and features a main event that pits Finn Balor and Samoa Joe against Kevin Owens and Rhyno.

The show begins with a match betwen The Vaudevillains and Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. The Vaudevillains win with a knee lift and a running neckbreaker.

Becky Lynch lets us all know that she aggravated an injury in her match with Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable. She needs to take a few weeks to make sure she is alright.

Baron Corbin squashes Tucker Knight in 20 seconds with the End of Days.

We see the third part of the Finn Balor video package. The first one was about his life in Ireland, while the second was about his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling. This third one is about his arrival in NXT and all the adjustments he had to make.

Emma defeats Carmella with the Dil-Emma submission hold. Dana Brooke came out with Emma, while Carmella did her "hottest chick in the ring" schtick on the way to the ring.

Bull Dempsey assaults a vending machine backstage after it eats his dollar. He prepares to throw a chair through the glass, but General Manager William Regal takes it from him. Dempsey holds a chocolate in front of Regal, who tastes it and frowns. Regal then tells him to clean up his act or he will not be pleased with the outcome of their next conversation.

Tyler Breeze defeats Tye Dillinger with the Beauty Shot.

Backstage, Emma and Dana Brooke are looking at the NXT Women's Championship in the locker room. Sasha Banks comes in and asks what they think they're doing. They respond they are taking over the division and they want her title. They challenge her to a tag team match if she can find a partner, and she says she will get one for next week.

Finn Balor and Samoa Joe defeat Kevin Owens and Rhyno when Balor dodges a Gore attempt that hits Owens instead. The NXT Champion then eats a running dropkick in the corner and Balor finishes him off with the double foot stomp for the pin.
